ManuLearn is a project funded by EIT Manufacturing currently in its second year of activities.
ManuLearn II aims at increasing the innovation potential of the participating EIT RIS countries by enhancing the educational framework and boosting digitalization under the concept of Industry 4.0. The project also aims for impact across industry and academia through the promotion of gender balance and the enhancement of soft skills.
From the end of November to the beginning of December, the ManuLearn project will hold a series of webinars about trend topics in manufacturing. During the webinars, the YML project will be presented. All YML Members are welcome to participate, either online or in presence at the IMH Campus.
The ManuLearn Webinar Series:
ManuLearn TEACHING FACTORY “Autonomous production cell”
The webinar is held by José Castellanos – Managing Director, SmartPM.
The webinar will discuss how to improve the productivity of different machines used in manufacturing by trying to find a solution to help them communicate during the production processes.

The webinar is held by Maitane Gabilondo Nieto – Additive Manufacturing department researcher

ManuLearn LEARNING FACTORY “Standard Communication Protocols: OPC-UA and UMATI”
The webinar is held by Josu Caminos – CNC Software Technician Fagor Automation, S. Coop.
The webinar will be focused on how Fagor Automation has incorporated new models and protocols to extract valuable information and optimise the performance of industrial processes to be prepared for the demanding requirements of Industry 4.0.
