YML Contest – Contribute to the 2025 World Manufacturing Report
Here’s your chance to be featured in the 2025 World Manufacturing Report. Continuing the tradition from previous years, members of the Young Manufacturing Leaders (YML) community are invited to submit thematic case studies for inclusion in the 2025 WM Report. This is a unique opportunity to share innovative solutions, best practices, and insights that could influence the future of manufacturing.
The World Manufacturing Report is an annual whitepaper that highlights the most important trends and technological developments shaping the global manufacturing landscape. The 2025 edition, produced by the World Manufacturing Report Editorial Team and supported by the World Manufacturing Foundation Advisory Board, is titled “Key Enabling Technologies for the Future of Manufacturing: Roadmaps & Platforms.” The Report will examine a wide range of technologies designed to enhance productivity, efficiency, resilience, and sustainability in manufacturing and supply chain operations, particularly in challenging and rapidly evolving environments.
The Report will be officially unveiled during the 2025 World Manufacturing Forum, scheduled for 13–14 November in Milan, Italy.
Every year, the World Manufacturing Forum brings together leaders, experts, and innovators from across the manufacturing sector to discuss strategies, policies, and emerging technologies that will define the industry’s future.
Participation in the YML contest offers the winner a unique opportunity not only to be featured in the 2025 WM Report but also to attend the Forum in Italy, network with industry leaders, and gain international recognition for their work. The contest winner will be formally recognised during an official award ceremony at the 2025 YML Summit, further highlighting their contributions to the field.
The contest is open to all current YML members. If you are not yet part of the community, you can join here.
Case studies must be submitted by 5 October 2025, using the official submission template and form.
The application guidelines can be downloaded here. Don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your expertise and influence the future of manufacturing.
